Russ and his family reside in Chatham and has been a full time Realtor since 1984. After many years in the construction field, he moved his family from Western Massachusetts to Cape Cod and took over a small real estate office from a retiring owner. Russ joined the Cape & Islands Board of Realtors in 1985 and has been an active member ever since.
In the last 25 years Russ has seen many changes in the real estate market. The rush to sell property in 1986 fueled by the tax changes, the complete turn around after the stock market dive in 1989, and the buying frenzy that started soon after 911. Through it all, Russ has not changed.
From your very first meeting or phone call you will get the feeling that you are working with a seasoned professional. Russ believes that knowledge, hard work and determination is the only acceptable approach when buying or selling a home.
Russ has many other interests, but running and staying fit is a real passion. In his early days, Russ dreamed of toeing the line in Hopkinton for the start of the Boston Marathon and now has made it happen three times. Other marathons include Cape Cod, New York City, Salt Lake City and his personal favorite, The Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, D.C. Russ believes that marathons and real estate are quiet similar, they both take dedication and the will to win and Russ is in for the long run.
